Our Story
Ever since I was a little girl in Cuba I remember having a passion for flowers/plants/fruits, and how I could "make a place pretty" with them. I would make Christmas trees out of coconut tree branches covering every branch with cotton, then making the ornaments out of whatever I could find in our backyard and tropical fruit trees.
My passion only continued to grow into adulthood – always being designated as the official family/friends "decorator and designer" for their homes, events and holiday gatherings. In time, I became known amongst my family and friends as the "Cuban Martha Stewart".
My first wedding was my sister's who ...of course... assigned me the "duty" of doing all her wedding flowers in 1996. It was a beautiful beach wedding day at Cano's in Newport Beach, CA. I remember staying up all night to make sure everything was just perfect. It was... with the FULL approval and praise from family and guests.
Fast forward, in 2002, same sister who worked for a very large company (Conexant) in Irvine, CA, called on me (once again) this time to do the corporate Christmas decorations... including the installation/decoration of about 15 Christmas trees.
We had the Thanksgiving weekend holiday to complete the entire job. Myself and a crew of 3 did manage to complete the job - granted with very little sleep in those 4 days. The next year the company hired us again. And...V O I L A !!!
